As a Diocese, we embark on a campaign to build a new camp and retreat center. It is designed to re-engage all of our parishioners, from the little children to the adults. A new camp and retreat center allows us to develop dynamic mission based ministries, assisting all of our neighbors. With the development of a camp and retreat center around a sustainable farm, the Diocese can incorporate renewable energy technology and other sustainable practices. Countless people will be challenged to refreshed and renewed lives of social justice, environmental fidelity, and spiritual growth.

By integrating service, learning, worship, and recreation, a new camp and retreat center provides new opportunities for members of the Diocese and people in the secular community to develop in the disciplines of prayer, stewardship, service, and leadership. It connects these actions to social justice and the health of our environment.

Participating in the camp and retreat center right now has three distinctive parts, a collaborative campaign, the World Café event, and completing the survey.

1.    If your parish is interested in running a collaborative campaign, please contact Katie Ong-Landini for more information.

2.    The Planting for Tomorrow, Growing in Faith Today is hosting 2 World Café events around the Diocese of Ohio. Click here to find one near you and to register.

3.    Please take the survey about sustainable food ministries happening in your parish or community. We are trying to gather more information in this area to help us with the planning.
